The ISCA Beinner Family Research Series on Antisemitism
Antisemitism has revived energetically in our day and is more pervasive and more threatening than it has been for many years. That is especially so since the Hamas pogrom of October 7, 2023 and the marked increase in anti-Israel and antisemitic activity since then.
In order to effectively confront this hatred, it is first necessary to understand it. Not everyone does. To help more people gain insights into today’s anti-Jewish hostility, we are inaugurating the Beinner Family Series of Research Papers: “Antisemitism: Before and After October 7.”
This is an ambitious series, with 10 papers already commissioned. You will find the first of these, Cary Nelson’s “The Future of Campus Antisemitism after October 7,” attached. Others will soon follow. All represent the thinking of leading scholars in the field and focus on the most salient features of today’s growing animosity toward Jews and Israel.
We appreciate your joining us in advancing knowledge of the threats before us. Our new Beinner Family Series of Research Papers on antisemitism is intended to do just that. We trust you will benefit from reading the papers and thank you for sharing them with others.
