Philip Spencer is Emeritus Professor in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Kingston University. He is also a Visiting Professor in Politics at Birkbeck College, University of London, where he is an Associate of the Pears Institute for the Study of Antisemitism. He is the author of Antisemitism and the Left; on the Return of the Jewish Question (with Robert Fine), Manchester University Press, 2017; of Genocide since 1945, Routledge, 2012; and of Nations and Nationalism, Edinburgh University Press, 2006 and Nationalism: a Crucial Introduction (with Howard Wollman), Sage 2002. He is currently writing another book on genocide.
