On Sunday, January 22, 1 PM Eastern Time, ISCA hosted a panel on hate speech as part of our 2023 Datathon & Hackathon Competition on bias against Asians, Black people, Hispanics and Latinos, Jews, and Muslims. For more information on the panelists, please see below. We are shocked and saddened by the recent hate crime against an Asian student here in Bloomington and stand in solidarity with the Asian community. Please see the Asian Culture Center's Statement.
