We invited Dr. Mehak Burza from New Delhi, India, to Prof. Günther Jikeli’s class on perceptions of the Holocaust on social media. Dr. Burza spoke on widespread ignorance about the Holocaust and Nazism that explains strange phenomena, such as some local businesspeople calling their ice cream company “Hitler Ice Cream.” To change this, Dr. Burza is initiating Holocaust education in India.
